One-Light Brass Cylinder Wall Sconce with Exposed Bulb

A flush cast back plate carries a short arm out to a vertical brass cylinder that holds the socket, leaving the bare globe bulb hanging below the tube. There is no shade or diffuser at all, so the fixture is as much about the brass geometry as the light, and it stays only four inches off the wall.
